Because this is about Nigeria my country of birth and my family, it is rather difficult to talk about. This is always the case when trying to explain, describe and understand your family in an open way especially one that you haven't seen for many years. It touches a raw nerve one doesn't really want to touch but touch it you must, that is the only thing to do because avoiding it solves nothing and leaves you unsatisfied and pleases no one. This is about my brothers, sisters and hometown and going back wasn't easy not knowing what to expect. For me this was very emotional seeing Nigeria, my family, hometown for the first time in 35 years.
